Enactus Okanagan College

Enactus is a worldwide organization that believes investing in students who take entrepreneurial action for others creates a better world for all of us. Enactus operates in 37 countries and over 1,730 college and university programs. Enactus Canada alone has positively impacted the lives of over 51,000 people. Enactus Okanagan College is a non-for-profit student organization operating out of the Okanagan College campuses in Kelowna, Vernon, Penticton and Salmon Arm. Through the community and campus partnerships and support, Enactus Okanagan College develops and implements projects, which satisfy the needs of our region. These needs include financial education due to our high cost of living, practical business skills due to our entrepreneurial climate, and awareness of green practices as our region is highly agricultural. Over the years Enactus Okanagan College has grown to be nationally acclaimed and revered in the community. Enactus teams compete on the basis of the quality of their outreach projects against other teams on a regional, national and international level. Enactus OC has podium finishes at the regional and national level! Enactus Okanagan College is the only team in Canada that operates in four different cities, directly impacting over 10 different communities. Enactus OC members are passionate about creating social, economic, and environmental projects that create a positive change for the people in our community.
