Draws For A Cause

Draws For A Cause is a business I started that works to provide underwear to children in need. For every pair of children’s underwear sold, one is donated to a child in need in Central America. I was inspired to start Draws For A Cause after an academic field study I took to the Texas and Mexico border where I interacted with families from Central America in Mexico border cities as well as US border towns. I successfully ran and funded a Kickstarter campaign to get Draws For A Cause started that raised over $12,000 in under 2 months. Additionally, I have designed, implemented, and run a dedicated webpage, social media, and published media for Draws For A Cause. I have also coordinated the end to end supply chain of the underwear including design, manufacturing, packaging, overseas importation, and shipping to consumers. I am also planning and organizing a donation trip to take the underwear to children in need in Guatemala for children ages 4-12.
