The mission of the Dallas/Fort Worth Area Tourism Council is: to make the Dallas Fort Worth North Texas Area the "must visit" destination of Texas! The Dallas/Fort Worth Area Tourism Council was formed in 1978 as a comprehensive force within the tourism industry to jointly market the entire region as a single destination. The premise was based on: "If we can get people to the area, everyone will benefit." Today the Council comprises over 130 organization partners within 32 counties all working in tandem to promote a variety of experiences for the traveler! Where will your story begin?
