We don't discriminate between race, religion, gender, financial means, and medical issues, all children deserve a smile!
Founder Vision:
Global domination to make all children smile when a hospital visit is necessary
We have three unique programs:
1. Committed to Crafting- Through product donations, we create and supply craft-kits that are currently used in Emergency rooms, clinic treatment rooms and operating waiting rooms. These kits are a fun way to pass the time during a hospital visit. We also supply toys, DVD's and teen appropriate gifts to the children in the hospital.
2. Creating Breathing Space- CFC has created a space for teenagers suffering from mental illnesses to craft and be distracted from their challenges. CFC is donating craft packages worth thousands of dollars to teen mental health wards in over 30 hospitals across Canada. As the only program of its kind, we are helping to give parents and their children a breathing space.
3. Smiles For All- This program was created by President Pamela Bielak's daughter, Naiomi Bielak as way to bring different art forms into the hospital, giving children a different outlet to express their creativity. Naiomi wanted to share her talent of ballet with children and family members to help others with a passion and interest in community. Naiomi along with a few of her fellow dancers have twirled in tutus with a smile for children who couldn't leave their beds, and danced in the halls with those that needed to stretch their legs.
