Sharing the mission of Conquering Childhood Cancers .. Together.
Courtney Jones Care and Cure Foundation is a grassroots 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to raising funds to support severely underfunded pediatric cancer research.
The foundation was conceived by 10-year-old Courtney Jones. She was diagnosed with Leukemia Lymphoma in 2017. She received treatment in Northeast Ohio. Courtney dealt with the pain and challenges of fighting cancer. Courtney knew the grim reality that many children suffer and many do not survive their cancer diagnoses.
Courtney wanted to keep children and families encouraged throughout the journey of hospitalizations, surgeries, chemotherapy, radiation, transplants, infusions, pain, relapses, fragile immunities, social and educational isolation. Courtney wanted to have more children beat the odds against this disease.
Courtney did not survive her own fight against cancer. The foundation holds her dream as its mission to help other children survive and thrive beyond their cancer diagnoses.
The foundation provides support to patients via coordination with hospital pediatric oncology professionals to allocate resources.
Community, corporate and other philanthropic donations fund the year around support of children and their families with gift cards for meals, transportation, household, medical needs, copays, activities, arts and crafts, educational supplies, entertainment, etc.
The Courtney Jones Care and Cure Foundation is committed to further pediatric cancer research via national consortiums. The goal is to develop better treatments, increase the survival rate and ultimately find a cure.
The Courtney Jones Care and Cure Foundation connects individuals, families, congregations, companies, teams, schools, communities and organizations to raise pediatric cancer awareness and engage in the mission to fight cancer.
