Cottesloe Surf Life Saving Club (Cottesloe SLSC) is Western Australia’s first surf life saving club established in the spring of 1909. Cottesloe SLSC is among the first surf life saving clubs in Australia and the Club was instrumental in the Surf Life Saving movement in Western Australia.
Life saving is our core business. Active Cottesloe club members provide voluntary life saving patrols on the weekends and public holidays from the 1st of October until the end of March every year.
As well as patrolling the beaches, active Club members participate in training and competition throughout the season.
New members are always welcome either as a patrolling member, as a family or as an age group manager for our nippers program which gets the younger ones confident on the beach and in the surf. Whatever the reason, Cottesloe Surf Life Saving Club has something to suit almost everyone.
