Congreso's mission is to enable individuals and families in predominantly Latino neighborhoods to achieve economic self-sufficiency and wellbeing.
Led by Carolina Cabrera DiGiorgio, Congreso served 17,567 unduplicated individuals in FY18, and has served more than 58,000 over the last five years. It has a $24 million consolidated budget, and more than 200 employees on its campus.
In 2018 and 2015, Philly.com listed Congreso as a Top Workplace in the Philadelphia Region, based on employee survey results. In 2014, Hispanic Business Magazine selected Congreso as a Top 25 Hispanic Nonprofit in the Nation, having first made its debut on that list in 2000.
