Congo Basin Institute Club @ Ucla

The Congo Basin Institute Club at UCLA seeks to raise awareness about the environmental problems facing the Congo Basin and the people who live there. We achieve this through supporting the Congo Basin Institute, a joint initiative between UCLA IoES and the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture, by organizing various events; each year, we organize fundraisers, movie nights, device drives, and research panels. By hosting various activities on campus and weekly meetings, we serve as a networking club for students interested in tropical ecology. We also offer support to the Cameroon Environmental Science Practicum Team.
