Concern India Foundation is a registered, non-profit, public charitable trust working towards ‘Helping People Help Themselves’ by making the disadvantaged self-reliant and thereby enabling them to lead a life of dignity.
It was set up in 1991 to extend financial and non-financial support to grass root programmes working in the areas of Education, Health and Community Development. Our support through these issues helps us touch the lives of a wider section of beneficiaries such as children, youth, the specially challenged, women and the elderly.
We strongly believe that the disadvantaged need opportunities, not charity. We aspire to bring about a positive transformation in the lives of the most vulnerable section of our society.
Through our efforts, today we support about 300 grassroots NGOs reaching out to 1,36,000 marginalised people directly through our offices in Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Pune.
