Community Land Scotland is the national voice for community landowners. We are at the forefront of advocating for land reform as a way to help deliver a fairer, greener and more sustainable Scotland and we promote community ownership of land and associated assets as central to delivering that overarching objective.
Our current membership includes community landowners from across Scotland – from Lewis to the Borders – owning and managing over 550,000 acres and a wide range of assets, urban and rural.
What do we do day-to-day? We support communities through their journey to ownership; act as a representative voice for our Members; advocate for a better policy environment that supports community ownership; facilitate knowledge exchange between communities; promote the benefits of community landownership and provide training and support to communities that own land and buildings.
