Canadian Jewish Congress

Canadian Jewish Congress works to foster a Canada where Jews, as part of the multicultural fabric of this country, live in and contribute to an environment of opportunity and mutual respect. CJC fulfils this mission through its mandate: Proactive defense of the security, status and rights of the community; Seeking the support of governments on a range of policy issues identified by Jewish Federations in Canada; and Promotion of the values of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms in Canada and human rights at home and abroad. CJC advocates on behalf of Canadian Jewry to advance these objectives and works in partnership with other Jewish communal organizations to improve the quality of life for all communities in Canada.
