The Chartered Professionals in Human Resources of New Brunswick (CPHR New Brunswick), formerly HRANB, was established in October 1996 to meet the needs of HR professionals in our province for their growth and recognition. The association’s mandate includes attaining recognition as a resource on employment issues, as well as promoting and gaining acceptance of the Human Resources field for the distinct body of knowledge it provides in business. Our purpose is to promote and encourage members to develop and maintain a professional standard of knowledge and proficiency in our occupational field.
CPHR New Brunswick has been a member of CPHR Canada since 1999. CPHR Canada represents 27,000 members in the Human Resources Profession across nine provinces and three territories in Canada. Established in 1994, CPHR Canada is the national voice on the enhancement and promotion of the HR Profession. With an established and credible designation and collaboration on national issues, we are proactively positioning the national human resources agenda in Canada and representing the Canadian HR Profession with HR Associations around the world.
