CINEMQ is an unrefined queer underground collective based in Shanghai. We organise events and curate content from around the world, with a focus on Chinese and East Asian queer screen culture. SCREENINGS We pull together the filthy and gorgeous of queer world cinema once a month: an eclectic mixtape of short films, visuals and music. Named one of Shanghai’s best queer parties by TimeOut. Screenings are always open to all. Glitter is required. ZINE Our bilingual English and Chinese platform publishes weekly articles from around the world on queer cinema and screen culture, with a focus on China and East Asia.
