CEPS is leading Montenegrin organization dealing with promotion and development of social entrepreneurship, social enterprises and social innovation. CEPS is involved in the area of social and youth entrepreneurship, youth empowerment, social innovation, digital economy and socio-economic development.
We work in following areas:
• Advocacy and Research (social economy, social entrepreneurship and social innovation, impact management)
• Service provision (business trainings, consulting, mentoring to enterprises with impact component)
CEPS is one of the local partners of the EFSE Entrepreneurship Academy, an initiative of the EFSE Development Facility, which encompasses a range of programs to support startups throughout the EFSE target region.
CEPS is national partner for Montenegro of Social Impact Award, founded in 2009, that runs education and incubation programs in more than 15 countries in Europe, Africa and Asia to support early-stage social entrepreneurs in developing and implementing innovative business solutions to tackle the most important societal challenges of our times.
CEPS is member of the Management Committee of European Cooperation in Science and Technology COST Action CA16206 – EMPOWER SE - Empowering the next generation of social enterprise scholars.
CEPS was part of a European consortium, led by EURICSE - European Research Institute on Cooperative and Social Enterprises and EMES - International Research Network, which conducted a study “Update of the Mapping of Social Enterprises and their Eco-systems in Europe”, funded by the European Commission. CEPS is one of the Western Balkans partners of the British Council, who are involved in implementation of Active Citizens program, global program of social leadership, which aims to develop basic skills and competences of youth.
