Business and Brood is a Newcastle upon Tyne based family friendly professional network. Established in 2020 by four local professional women with a shared passion for female empowerment and inclusion, the key aim is to connect all working mothers and to provide networking like no other which is fully accessible for all. Our goal is for the network to focus on wellbeing and helping harmony exist in so far as possible between working life and family life. We’ll be offering a range of events, advice around “balancing” a career with parenthood, advice around wellbeing, online resources and a mentoring programme. Our focus is to help you to strengthen professional connections with or without little or large humans in tow. Because sometimes life’s not as easy as breakfast catch-ups when you have the school run or lunchtime seminars when you’re working compressed or part-time hours.
