Founded in 1968 by Mr Peter Hunt, Bransby Horses is one of the UK's largest equine welfare and rescue charities, dedicated to improving the lives of horses, ponies, donkeys and mules.
Bransby Horses has nearly 1,000 equines in our care across two sites in Lincolnshire and foster homes around the country, many of whom come from situations of neglect and mistreatment. Our site in the Lincolnshire hamlet of Bransby is open to the public for free all year round and gives visitors a chance to see the amazing work our teams do first hand.
We rely solely on support from the general public to continue our mission to improve the lives of equines through our key charity principles; rescue, rehabilitation, rehoming, education and providing specialist sanctuary care.
Thanks to continued public support and people remembering us in their Will, we can continue our vital work and take on more equines in need.
