Whether adult or child, Family Services, Inc. provides therapeutic care to help individuals, families and children identify and understand areas of concern and make steps towards establishing a healthy approach to everyday life and relationships.
Residential Treatment
A program designed for children and adolescents, aged 6-18, who have experienced extreme abuse, trauma or mental illness that require a medically managed residential program to provide structure, therapeutic support and life skills to eliminate negative, self destructive behaviors.
Opportunities School
A state-approved program to accommodate students who have not exhibited successful participation with the resources available within their home schools. This program serves as an alternative to expulsion for students struggling with emotional, learning and behavioral issues. A non-traditional, individualized approach to academics allow students to have their needs met and stay on track with their academic goals for successful completion. Teachers are trained to support academic and behavioral/social/emotional issues that may arise to give children/adolescents the skills necessary to cope successfully beyond the classroom.
Siouxland Family Community Center (Dakota City, NE)
A Community Center program that provides an emergency food supply, interpretation services and a liason to other programs and agencies that provide services needed by those in crisis or high need for the family or individual. This leads them on the path to long term stability and successful living within their community. Services are priced at low cost in comparison to the market average for translation.
