The mission of the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Lowell is "to inspire and enable young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens."
Our vision is to end the cycle of generational poverty in Greater Lowell.
Through afterschool and summer programming, the Boys & Girls Club provides engaging programs, caring role models and healthy meals to 1,500+ young people between the ages of 8 - 18. Our comprehensive programs have been shown to increase academic success, improve healthy lifestyles and reduce risky behaviors. In order to reduce the barrier to entry and ensure that Club programs are available to all youth in Lowell, membership is just $30 annually ($5 for teens) and includes all programming and services.
It is through community support via individuals, businesses, partner organizations and government entities that the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Lowell is able to operate.
We invite you to learn more about the challenges our youth are overcoming, and how you can help end generational poverty in Lowell as a supporter, volunteer and/or advocate for the young people in the Greater Lowell Community.
