For 25 years, BizWorld.org has been teaching elementary and middle school children across the U.S. and in 100 countries around the world how to run a business through our innovative entrepreneurship programs. Our mission is to empower children to become 21st century thinkers by awakening their entrepreneurial spirit, inspiring them to become the architects of their futures, and giving them the confidence to transform their world.
The original BizWorld program began as a grassroots movement in Silicon Valley in an effort to teach students the important business and real-life skills that many of them were not being taught at home or at school. Today, BizWorld.org is the largest educator-led entrepreneurial program in the world, having taught and inspired over 615,000 children. BizWorld.org currently offers three project-based programs: BizWorld, BizWiz and BizMovie and our newest extension program, the Impact Challenge. Correlated to both California State and national standards in math, economics and language arts, BizWorld.org programs bring these standards to life by adding relevancy to academics and providing students with a real-world context. All programs are designed to be flexible and applicable in a variety of classroom settings.
BizWorld.org is committed to enriching the quality of education and future prospects for under-served youth, promoting self-sufficiency, and assisting children in achieving their highest potential. Before students reach the well documented "turning point" in middle school, we believe that we can empower them with innovative, real-world experiences. In doing so, we can disrupt the trajectory of the past and send children in a new direction that inspires them to achieve extraordinary things!
