Avant-Garde Learning Alliance (Avant-Garde) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation that is committed to transforming education for Alaska’s children. Avant-Garde provides professional training, resources and support in five areas: • Supporting future Native teachers • Improving teaching and learning through the effective use of student assessment data • Improving career opportunities and preparation for rural students • Virtual learning • Science education
