Appita is a not for profit organisation established in 1946 to advance the technological capability and expertise of the Australasian pulp and paper industry by providing a professional association dedicated to the industry.
We bring together an extensive network of people, aiming to increase professional skill levels and share knowledge to move the industry forward and equip it to confront existing and future issues.
We are funded by individual membership subscriptions and industry support and are overseen by an elected Executive Committee of long standing and respected members.
With a large broad-based membership of over 120 corporate and 1300 individual members in Australia, New Zealand and worldwide, our members include CEOs, mill managers, mill technical personnel, operators, process engineers, consultants, researchers, academics, government bodies and industry suppliers.
