The Anxiety Disorders Association of Manitoba (ADAM) is a registered self-help charity and was formed in 1986, for and by people suffering from anxiety disorders.
At ADAM, we support individuals to learn coping strategies to moderate their anxiety symptoms. We provide advocacy, training, and education.
We actively work to increase awareness and reduce stigma related to anxiety disorders. Staff and volunteers receive expert, ongoing, and current advice from specialists in this field. We are a peer-led organization; all staff and volunteers have personally experienced and overcome the disabling effects of anxiety, and are now sharing that knowledge and hope with others. ADAM provides education, services, and support throughout Manitoba.
