We are a non-profit organization in Israel devoted to the advancement and empowerment of released IDF soldiers from disadvantaged backgrounds in the process of re-entering civilian life.
The organization focuses on graduates of the IDF's Eitan Program (formerly the Center for Promotion of Special Populations in the IDF). Amit La’Derech aims to bridge the gap between the warm embrace of the Eitan training and the hardships of civilian life post-service, and to assist discharged soldiers to successfully integrate back into civilian life after they finish their army service.
Founded in 2015 by former Eitan Program commanders, Amit La’Derech was established from a deep-rooted understanding of the needs of discharged Eitan soldiers. This understanding dictates the emphasis placed on certain aspects of training and the overall educational approach applied in our programs.
