All Five creates an economically sustainable network of birth-to-five schools that increases access to and quality in early learning. Ninety percent of a person’s brain is developed by age 3; but public education doesn’t start until age 5. Children from lower socioeconomic communities often enter kindergarten already years behind.
All Five's mission is to prevent the opportunity gap through early childhood education. All Five brings innovation and sustainability by integrating five key practices - focusing on children starting at birth, a public-private funding model, socioeconomic diversity, fair compensation for teachers, and family and community involvement.
All Five will open a pilot school in San Mateo County in 2015 with 24 - 48 children. By August 2018, we will serve 108 children, our first location will be sustainable, and we will be looking to open a second Bay Area school.
