About us: the Colombian National Cancer Institute
The Colombian National Cancer Institute was created in 1934 and for over seven decades it has been committed to the provision of a comprehensive approach to prevention, treatment, rehabilitation and research of cancer in the Colombian population.
The Institute is located at calle 1 No. 9-85, in Bogotá, Colombia, where over 150 medical specialists and a comprehensive team of allied health professionals provide cancer care in the form of surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, immunotherapy, or combinations of these and other treatments.
Mission
The mission of the Colombian National Cancer Institute is to work as a public institution in a national scale for the comprehensive control of cancer.

We shall be a leading institution in comprehensive attention, human resources formation, and scientific and technologic research in cancer care.
