At PtD we are passionate about using the arts to develop the individual, their wellbeing and their voice.
Our PtD Values are about engaging participants in purposeful activity; about having a place that provides them with a supportive community; and the importance of participating and contributing to the wider community.
We are participant led; our projects are bespoke and co-created to showcase their niche skills and talents. Many of our additional needs participants have stepped up to become arts leaders and we are working towards offering employment opportunities so that they can inspire the next generation!
We love to connect with others and we are always interested in joint-working with voluntary and statutory organisations, to widen the opportunities for our participants and to share expertise and resources for the benefit of all.
The PtD staff team offer years of experience in the arts and in the delivery of special education needs teaching. We offer training, workshops and performances. Our staff and participants are always keen to share their experiences of navigating the world with an additional need.
