The Financial and Fiscal Commission is a constitutional entity that is independent of Government. The Commission is accountable to the Constitution and to the Law. The Commission reports to Parliament and provincial legislatures regarding the discharge of its mandate and the employment of the resources that it has been allocated by the State for that purpose.
