As the first wholly-owned European subsidiary of China National Machinery Imp. & Exp. Corp, CMC Europe Kft was established in September 2019 in Budapest, the Capital city of Hungary. CMC Europe Kft's main businesses cover the construction, international investment and contracting, development and operation of renewable energy, conventional energy, industrial plants, infrastructures, as well as providing relevant professional technical services. In 2020 CMC Europe Kft invested and built a 100-megawatt solar power plant in Kaposvár, Hungary, which is by far one of the largest solar plants in central and Eastern Europe with a value worth 32 billion forints (100 million euros). The project will be able to satisfy the electricity demand of a city with 50,000 inhabitants. The project was commissioned by the end of January 2021. Recently, CMC with a highly skilled team of industry professionals is looking after the origination of premium renewable energy pipelines and their development, construction, financing, and operation, which are currently under construction in Italy, Spain, the UK, etc. With the achievement in Hungary, CMC Europe Kft is acting as the regional hub in Europe.
