BilimKoop is a labor and nature-centric value production network, based on scientific processes and the benefits of a culture of solidarity and open innovation. BilimKoop is a social cooperative. It does not pay salaries and compensations to the members of the board of directors. It does not distribute dividends to its partners. It is an egalitarian organization where partners share the values they produce in proportion to their contributions. Science, and cooperation for a better future! We, scientific researchers, engineers, designers, academics and non-academic scientists from all disciplines, technology developers, R&D professionals, project managers, white-collar professionals, we came together as women, men and young people of all ages to create a new value network system and a new “cooperative model” to do our job better, and to build a new culture of work and solidarity. Our cooperative is striving to be an innovative social organism, nourished by the culture of openness, that adapts to the rapid changes in the new and developing world at the same speed, shares knowledge and experience, develops very fast solutions to every problem with people from different disciplines, transforms the solutions of problems into products and new services by developing collective intelligence. For us, science is a guide for tools, objectives and methods. As a cooperative, we adopt as shered principles the cultural notions that science has developed over hundreds of years, such as a culture of cooperation, ways of doing business, curiosity, solidarity, morality, patience, courage, criticality, continuity, merit and working for humanity.
