Kincora Copper is focused on the discovery of globally significant copper porphyry related deposits and holds a strategic and district scale position in Australia’s foremost porphyry province – the Macquarie Arc of the Lachlan Fold Belt.
Approximately 30,000 metres have been drilled since our entry into NSW. Two corporate transactions and a total of four direct applications for new licenses have been successful. The Company has been awarded four separate project grants from the NSW Governments cooperative drilling programs, following competitive expert panel reviews.
Drilling has advanced our geological models and convictions for the Trundle, Fairholme and Nyngan projects. At our flagship Trundle project, we have made two new porphyry intrusion related discoveries, and, most recently what we believe is the largest mineralised skarn system in NSW. In August 2022, the Company announced the highest-grade primary assay results to date from the Trundle project, at the emerging Southern Extension Zone (SEZ) discovery.
Our next phase of drilling will look to leverage our results and knowledge gained over the last 2.5 years, and test more and shallower targets, looking to confirm multiple ore grade discoveries across a 3.2km mineralised strike at Trundle. We have very high conviction for these targets and the next phase drilling program.
From a scale and upside potential, as well as target depth and existing grade profile perspective, the next phase program ticks the boxes for how a junior porphyry explorer can create significant value.
Recently, Kincora announced a large maiden Mineral Resource and updated Exploration Target reported under the JORC Code for our Mongolian project portfolio. Kincora remains committed to extracting appropriate value from the Mongolian assets while we continue to focus efforts towards activities in NSW.
The Company is dual listed on the ASX and TSXV under the ticker KCC.
