Diamond Generating Europe Limited (DGE) is a power generation company established in September 2012 in London with operations across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The business model consists in the development, the ownership and the operation of power plants within those markets. Currently, Diamond Generating Europe Limited is made up of both independent power producer (IPP) and non-independent power producer (non-IPP) projects. The former include(s) wind assets in the Netherlands, Belgium and France, solar assets in Portugal, France, Spain and Jordan and thermal power units under operation and development in Jordan and Qatar. In 2016 DGE acquired 60% of Electroroute, thereby extending its reach to non-IPP area.
The scale and complexity of the business is increasing rapidly as new businesses are acquired and come on stream. Aiming to foster this growth and to actively partake in the development of renewable power production, Diamond Generating Europe is seeking to reach out to new markets, further its current market presence, adapting its business model depending on the existent opportunities.
