The Jerusalem Cinematheque-Israel Film Archive is a Jerusalem treasure, a local, national and international resource dedicated to promoting the art of cinema and the preservation and study of film. The Cinematheque`s home is a stunning complex overlooking the Ben Hinnom Valley, the Old City of Jerusalem and Mount Zion. Marcello Mastroianni the famous Italian actor who was a guest at one of the Jerusalem Film festivals in the 1980's said: "This is the most beautiful Cinematheque in the world."
