The Grasco Group was established in 1950 to cater to the needs of the Colombian market in the areas of edible oils and cleaning products. From its inception, the Group positioned itself as a market leader. Its production facilities consist of eight industrial centers that manufacture and market a diverse line of products such as fats and oils, soaps and detergents, animal feed, industrial products, and others.
Each of the centers are strategically located within Colombia’s borders: Fábrica de grasas y productos químicos, GRASCO S.A., located in the capital city of Santafé de Bogotá; Productora de grasas y aceites, PROGRAL S.A., located in the tropical city of Girardot; Grasas y aceites vegetales, GRACETALES S.A., set in the Atlantic maritime port city of Barranquilla; DETERGENTES S.A.; JABONERIA CENTRAL S.A.; RAZA S.A. and others are strategically located within the Colombian territory. In 1957, the Group founded Industrial Agraria La Palma, INDUPALMA S.A., the first and largest African Palm plantation in the country. INDUPALMA S.A. was primarily designed to supply the Group its basic raw material, palm oil.
