MAIN BV (MAIN Waste Collection Netherlands) is a full service company that continuously collects and processes waste. With over 20 years experience in the collection and processing of ship's waste, MAIN started in 2010 with the collection of waste oil (afgewerkte olie) from all sectors all over Netherlands. MAIN also has specialist knowledge in (ship) cleaning. MAIN is the drinking water supplier for several ports, including Den Helder. The company has been working on the so-called “vuilvisproject” (Fishing for Litter Project) for the Dutch Ministry of Transport, Public Works and Water Management since 2001.
