The Denka Group, of which DENKI KAGAKU KOGYO KABUSHIKI KAISHA forms the central core, makes utmost use of the rich resources we possess at the Omi Plant (Niigata Prefecture), i.e. a wealth of raw limestone and low-cost private-sector power generators (primarily hydroelectric power, as well as a wide range of accumulated technologies from inorganic through organic to macromolecular). Thus, we strive to meet the ever-changing challenges of the times, from the sourcing and development of functional materials, to the development of structural members to which customer satisfaction (i.e. solutions) has been added to materials, thereby earning strong customer confidence, while simultaneously striving for further growth by maintaining and improving our relative competitive edge in the global economy.
