Generations For Peace (GFP) is a Jordan-based global non-profit peacebuilding organisation founded by HRH Prince Feisal Al Hussein of Jordan in 2007. Dedicated to sustainable peacebuilding and the use of sport, advocacy, art, dialogue, empowerment, and media for conflict transformation, GFP empowers volunteer leaders of youth to promote active tolerance and responsible citizenship in communities that experience different forms of conflict and violence. GFP is ranked 25th in the “Top 200 Social Good Organisations (SGO) in the World” for 2021 by SGO Advisor and is the third-highest-ranked peacebuilding SGO in the world. It is also the top-ranked SGO in the Arab World. Since 2007, GFP has grown rapidly. We have trained, mentored and supported more than 20,502 volunteer leaders of youth from 52 countries in the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America. With our support, their ongoing programmes address local issues of conflict and violence and have touched the lives of more than 1,446,349 children, youth and adults in different contexts.
