Maryborough District Health Service is a leading rural healthcare provider in the heart of the Victorian Central Goldfields. Our purpose is to connect our community to GREAT healthcare. We do this by providing acute medical and surgical services, urgent care, maternity services, aged care, diagnostics, rehabilitation, allied health, mental health, palliative care and residential care from modern campuses in Maryborough, Avoca and Dunolly. Our team of around 450+ staff live by our values to deliver on our patient promise, and provide best practice health care to the right patient at the right time. With a new $100 million dollar hospital and student accommodation on the way we are expanding our programs, services and facilities, and continue to attract the best people. Our dedicated team works with a range of partners to deliver high quality care and treatment, and teaching and education programs. We treat 9,000 patients a year and there are more than 120 beds in daily use across our services. We’re investing in understanding the experiences of our patients and communities to drive quality care, and using new and innovative ways to support them.
