The National Association of Minority Veterans of America (NAMVETS of America) is the largest veterans service organization in the United States representing veterans of color. Our members represent all groups - races and nationalities - who have served in the US Armed Forces. NAMVETS of America is a membership-driven 501c3 with an ever expanding chapter base in communities across America. Our major programs includes; 1) nationally recognized National Claims Center, 2) VetConnects program that provides veterans with support in communities across America, 3) Laotian American Veteran Recognition Project, and 4) our HousingFirst program that aims to connect veterans to affordable and decent housing in communities across the United States.
If you are a veteran and you want to get involved in addressing veterans issues, the contact us at info@namvetsamerica.org. We looking for leaders to provide leadership at the national, regional, state and local/chapter level.

As a leadership based organization, NAMVETS of America aims to address the issues facing veterans of color by maintaining open and constructive dialogue and communication with the VA and with state departments of veterans affairs. In addition, we work to constantly listen to veterans of color who often feel that they are not getting a fair shake. At the end of the day, we expect that our work will result in a veteran getting what was promised to him or her - a "fair shake!"
