Eagle Air Med is a fixed wing air ambulance service, serving the Navajo Nation, the San Luis Valley in Colorado, as well as and the Four Corners Region. Eagle Air Med transports patients from pediatrics to geriatrics, excluding specialty care services. We transport medical, surgical, cardiac, trauma, pediatric, neuro, and burn patients from rural area facilities to tertiary care facilities 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Our flight nurses and paramedics use the latest technology and advanced education to transport patients who may require advanced procedures. These procedures include, but are not limited to oral and nasal intubation, needle and surgical cricothyrotomy, biphasic defibrillation and cardioversion, mechanical ventilation, intraosseous needle insertion, and rapid sequence intubation (RSI). We also provide non-emergent and/or scheduled air ambulance services.
