Richmond Volleyball Club is a nonprofit organization dedicated to developing athletes of all ages for amateur volleyball competition. The purpose of RVC is to promote interest in the sport of volleyball, provide training in the skills and techniques of volleyball, and foster teamwork, sportsmanship and an appreciation for health and wellness.
RVC is a home-away-from-home for its more than 3,000 members - both adults and youngsters – and still growing. It was founded in 1981 by a common group of people with a love for sports and socializing. It has been built, organized, run and prospered by our “family” of members into its current configuration of 2 facilities with over 70,000 sq. feet and 16 courts. The Richmond Volleyball Club is social, fun and family with volleyball programs for ages 3 through 73.
RVC is the only dedicated volleyball facility with year-round adult leagues, youth programs for ages 3 to 18, and a nationally competitive junior program (USA Junior Volleyball). More than 200 kids have left the RVC junior programs and continued their volleyball career at colleges and universities across the US.
