North York General Hospital, affiliated with the University of Toronto, is one of Canada's leading community academic hospitals. They are supported by a number of departments including Medical Imaging, Laboratory Medicine and Pharmacy Services. A 192-bed long-term care home is located at the Seniors' Health Centre.
