Inaugurated in 2018 at the instigation of the Paris Bar, the LAB EFB is a program that is part of the mandatory curriculum for all student lawyers.
The LAB EFB prepares student lawyers to face the challenges of the transformation of their profession. It invites them to build projects around themes such as new services, marketing, communication, legal design, internal organization, etc.
At the LAB EFB, we invite student lawyers to act as professionals, not as students. They work in teams of 4 to 7, in "commando" mode, prototype and pitch their ideas in front of a jury of professionals.
Each year, nearly 2,000 student lawyers live this experience and develop nearly 300 projects.
Within the EFB LAB is also the TALENT&INNOVATION course with, each year, about ten selected student lawyers, working on innovation and new ways of working in law firms.
