Technical Air Systems, Inc. (TAS/Tech Air) was founded over 25 years ago in March 1994 to provide a higher level of engineered sales and marketing support to regional NY/NJ HVAC construction industry. Our relationships encompass the entire industry from HVAC manufacturers to HVAC contractors, mechanical engineers, construction managers and building developers.
During the 1990s and early 2000s, TAS with sister company TAS Parts & Supply, LLC expanded its footprint in the New Jersey/New York market on the back of the office boom in the late 1900s and the Internet age in the early 2000s.
In the mid 2000's, TAS continued to diversify its engineered solutions products portfolio and expanded into more unique air distribution equipment and control solutions for specialized hospital, university laboratory and genetics pharmaceutical research brands. Major projects that were completed in the mid 2000's were Mount Sinai Hospital, NYU Medical Center, Greystone Hospital, Memorial Sloan Kettering research facilities and Merck's K-15 research and development facilities. These major projects were a result of TAS's focus on diversifying product offerings and expanding into new markets.
Other notable buildings for which TAS has been a supplier of HVAC equipment around New York City include the Empire State Building, the World Trade Center, the New York Stock Exchange, the Goldman Sach Towers in NJ and NYC, the 2nd Avenue Subway and Woolworth Headquarters.
