Amnesty International works for human rights. We are a global organization that fights for the equal value of all people. By having investigators in place across the globe, we collect testimonies and document to quickly be able to reveal when violations of human rights occur. Through mobilizing a lot of people who pay attention to these violations, we can form opinion and put pressure on people in power and governments. This way we can create long-term change and premises for a world where human rights are for everyone. We work without the influence of political parties, religion or financial interests. This means we are very restrictive with contributions from companies and states. Together we create a world where human rights apply to everyone, now and in the future.
