Ashoka Indonesia is the second country office of Ashoka, the world’s largest network of social entrepreneurs. Founded in 1983, Ashoka Indonesia have selected and supported ca. 180 leading changemakers - "Ashoka Fellows" - from across Indonesia working on various field: health, education, environment, economy, and civic participation.
Furthermore, through its various programs targeting social innovators and young people, Ashoka Indonesia cultivates a community that envisions an Everyone a Changemaker world: a world that responds quickly and effectively to social challenges, and where each individual has the freedom, confidence and societal support to address any social problem and drive change, starting from one’s very own family, community, city, country, and the world.
