The Business & IP Centre (BIPC) Sussex, with its regional Centre located at the Jubilee Library in Brighton and locals Centre at Crawley, Eastbourne and Hastings Libraries. We offer support to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), entrepreneurs, inventors, and innovators across the whole of Sussex. From that first spark of inspiration to successfully launching and developing your start-up, BIPC Sussex can acquaint you with the resources you need to equip your business, charitable organization, career transition, or artistic enterprise for success. In addition to providing a newly renovated space dedicated to networking and workshops at Jubilee Library, BIPC Sussex offers free one-to-one expert support along with access to a wealth of commercial and work-related information such as business analysis databases, market- and country-specific research reports, individual company data, localized studies of high street trends, information on grants, economic relief and other funding resources, and much, much more. As one of the aims of the British Library's National Network of BIPCs is to diversity and democratize entrepreneurship, we extend a particularly warm welcome to community members who typically have much lower rates of self-employment—women, individuals from a black and Asian minority ethnic background, and individuals with disabilities.
