Our Vision:
To build a lasting connection between Papatūānuku and future generations, weaving Te Ao Māori and Mātauranga Māori into the fabric of our society, enhancing the unity and wellbeing of all.
Our Mission:
To transform the delivery of health, wellbeing, cultural, and educational services for both Māori and non-Māori. Our mission includes making sure that Papatūānuku and Te Taiao is seamlessly integrated into land practices.
In the last 2 years we have:
- Planted 100,000 native plants
- Trapped 560 pests
- Managed 10,000 hectares (Lake Hayes Catchment)
- Created over 75 jobs
- Supplied 2 tonne venison into kai support
- Provided 7 Tonne firewood into households
- Supported 135 rangatahi 2023
- Had over 3500 people attend our events
As a result, we’ve seen:
- improvements in water quality
- birds returning to the catchment
-staff find purpose and learn new skills
- whānau get back on track
-students thrive in school
- and so much more
Across our diverse team we are united by our passion, expertise, and a commitment to leaving our communities and the environment in better than we found it.
We work with both the public and private sectors, serving both Tāhuna and NZ wide.
