Design Society is a growing internet platform established in Athens in 2022, with the objective of promoting Design as manifested through all mediums of creative expression, as well as connecting Greek designers and brands with the wider world. At the same time, it aims to establish contact between the public and international brands, the concepts and the designers behind them, the companies that produce them, as well as those that serve as their representatives in our country. In accordance with an approach founded on the concept of community, DS hosts monthly articles on a vast range of subjects, hailing from all different fields of design, architecture and art. Stories of visionary designers, artists, writers, editors and academics, field entrepreneurs as well as individuals interested in the world of design, meld into an amalgam and produce a new multifaceted cultural experience. Uniting the community around Design is a significant goal for us, in addition to the cultivation of grounds for change, utilising design and innovation in the service of people. We hope we can help, even a tiny bit, to inspire and empower people to construct a better society through design.
