The Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand (TSANZ) is the peak body for all health professionals and scientists working in respiratory health in Australia and New Zealand.
Our Mission is to lead, support and enable all health workers and researchers to prevent, cure and relieve disability caused by lung disease.
The Thoracic Society of Australia commenced in 1961 with New Zealand joining forces to form the Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand in 1988.
TSANZ aims to improve knowledge and understanding of lung disease, to prevent respiratory illness through research and health promotion, and to improve health care for people with respiratory disorders.
