Leisnoi Government Services (LGS) is an Alaska Native Village Corporation with roots on Woody Island in the Kodiak Island Archipelago. Our ancestors arrived in the area over 10,000 years ago, and today Leisnoi Shareholders and Descendants can be found in both our traditional homes and throughout the United States.
Our Corporation was established in 1971 by the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA). Today we own approximately 50,000 acres of land on Kodiak Island, Woody Island and Long Island. Leisnoi started out with 297 shareholders but now has over 422. The Corporation’s purpose is to provide shareholder benefits while managing its land and preserving its heritage.
LGS is a wholly owned subsidiary of Leisnoi, Inc. LGS’s companies are focused on providing a wide range of professional services to the government, military, and federal customers.
